They are The Seine, The Loire, The Garoone, and the Rhone . The Seine flows into the English Channel, the Loire flows into the Atlantic, the Garoone flows into the Bay of Biscay, and the Rhone flows south into the Mediterranean. In the Alps, near the Italian and Swiss borders is where the western highest point in Europe. The highest point is the Mont Blanc. It is 15,781 feet ot 4,810 meters. The Vosges Mountains are in the northeast along the Spanish border. France is mainly flat plains or gently rolling hills.
